Sandra’s formal accounting career began with the Ontario Ministry of Finance in tax audit and financial administration. From there, she moved to private practice where she has been for the past 25 years.

Sandra provides accounting and financial management services to a client list that includes over 800 active files. Her practice provides accounting and bookkeeping services, financial planning, and personal and corporate tax preparation for individuals, estates, and small and medium-sized businesses.

In recent years, Sandra has developed additional services by drawing on her many years of professional experience. As a court-qualified forensic accounting expert, she provides litigation support services to lawyers and their clients with financial matters involving small business and family law. She is also a roster consultant with the Business Development Bank of Canada.

As a business consultant, Sandra’s primary focus has been to assist business owners with managing their businesses through periods of growth and transition. In the current environment of increasingly complex accounting processes, her practice can provide solutions and experienced staff resources. In preparing clients to meet tax, planning and reporting needs, she seeks to provide simple ways to meet complex challenges.

Sandra is a member of the Board of Directors of the Kingston Economic Development Corporation, where she works with other community leaders to sustain and grow the economy of Kingston. Sandra’s other community involvement includes past service as a Director of the Kingston District Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement of Kingston and the Estate Planning Council of Eastern Ontario and currently a Trustee with the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston.

Sandra is the Founder of the Kingston Trusted Advisors Forum. The Forum meets with legal, investment, banking and other professionals to find ways clients can benefit from closer, collaborative approaches among the professions. In this way, Sandra’s own role, as a trusted advisor, is to constantly deliver better, more practical financial, legal and business planning services for her clients.
